This past Sunday was my last weekend as a member of the staff team at The Vineyard Church of Central Illinois. I found myself feeling a strange mixture of emotions as I bid farewell to my spiritual family of the last seventeen years and began to step out into a new adventure. The Vineyard in Champaign-Urbana has been such a wonderful home to grow into the things of the Spirit and church leadership; I will always be grateful to the Lord for the wonderful season Brittany and I had there.
This week I felt it apropos to post the message I shared on my farewell weekend, which puts into words both how I feel and how I'm processing the change of spiritual seasons I'm presently navigating. I'm finding that many people are in a similar place. Enjoy!

Putty Putman's Spirit-inspired innovative insights come from his wild journey with Jesus from physicist to pastor to entrepreneur to author and speaker. His three main passions are the Holy Spirit, effective communication, and journeying toward the future God has for the church and the world.
Putty founded the School of Kingdom Ministry and spent eleven years as a pastor on the staff team of The Vineyard Church of Central Illinois, followed by a year and a half as an interim pastor at The Chapel. In February 2023 he moved to Phoenix, Arizona to church pioneer by planting a new kingdom ecosystem called FUSE. Putty is the author of two books, and lives with his wife and three children in Tempe, AZ.
